    The Amore has been Animato's flagship violin for the past 15 years. It has the most beautiful sound you can possibly achieve at an affordable price. It is often embarrassing to hear this relatively inexpensive violin out-perform most European made violins.

    As the name suggests, the Amore is not only 'loving' in the way it expresses itself, her owners love the Amore too! The Amore Violin comes with a new case, bow and rosin. This instrument is recommended for dedicated students.

    Includes:

    * 'Maestro Strings'
    * Oblong case
    * Good bow
    * Good Rosin

    Setup & Warranty:

    This instrument has been set up by Animato Strings. It has a full year warranty.

    1. Lovely warm sound, excellent service

      Posted by Kathryn on 12th Oct 2018

      There is no music store where I live so I went online and found Animato. The Youtube demonstrations of various violins and all the information on the website were very helpful. A young woman ( clearly a violinist! and extremely courteous and helpful) helped me choose my Amore violin over the phone - not the best way of buying a violin, obviously, but I am very happy with the result. It has a lovely warm sound and rings when played. Anyone who has checked out my violin since then ( i.e. people who know a lot more than me) has made positive comments. I've bought a number of items from Animato since then and continue to be impressed by their courteous and efficient service.

    3. Quality for the best price

      Posted by Marita on 2nd Mar 2016

      Upgrading from our daughters much love Arco violin, she is in love with the 4/4 Amore. It arrived this morning and I've been told that she hasn't put it down except to eat and for bathroom breaks. She can't wait to show and play for her teacher.
      The sound is great very soothing and warm and the price for the quality she received was so cheap. I'm not surpsrised as Dietrich and his Animato team always provide great service and quality products which is why we always come back.
      I don't know much about violins but I know the sound is lovely and the craftsmanship is beautiful, made with love, the case is great as is the bow and the rosin. All of this for a low price, we ordered this yesterday morning via phone and it was delivered to our front door in Melbourne this morning

      Thank you for the beautiful violin. Fraser’s violin teacher at the Gold Coast (Ben) is very happy with the sound of the instrument.

      We are delighted to have Fraser enjoy such a lovely violin. Thank you very much.

    6. Beautifully warm violin

      Posted by Rouen Malone on 2nd Dec 2014

      Living the a remote indigenous community and trying to teach myself violin from the Suzuki books I made the mistake of trying to use a cheap eBay violin. Realising this I decided to invest in a quality student instrument being originally from brisbane I immediately thought to contact animato.

      Dietrich played a few of there instruments through the phone to me and the amores sound stood out markedly from the others. I put a deposit down during that phone call and do not regret it at all the instrument is beautiful it's warmth is such a relief after the brilliance of my previous violin. Any adult wanting to learn the violin this is the instrument for you.

    7. Excellent violin - Excellent service

      Posted by Julie on 25th Oct 2014

      My son fell in love with the Amore violin after watching Dietrich's video. We tried a couple of others first, just for comparison, but the Amore stood out from the rest. It has a wonderful, rich sound and is great quality at a reasonable price. Dietrich spent a long time with us, choosing the best violin and the best bow to suit my son. He's had it for several months now and it's a beautiful instrument. We certainly recommend Animato - excellent instruments, service and expertise. We'll be back!

    8. It's Amore! (sorry Dean Martin)

      Posted by Morgan on 5th Oct 2014

      We went to Animato yesterday for the first time to look at the Amore violin, after seeing the clip of Dietrich playing it on the site and the previous reviews.
      The violin is exceptional for the price - it has a full, round, rich tone. Played against our previous Gliga (which we thought was reasonably good), it is amazing!
      I cannot compliment the Animato team enough - they took nearly 2 hours with us, and Dietrich helped select the instrument with the best tone from their Amore range. He then selected the best bow from their stock and explained what he was looking for, and the importance of bow and strings on the sound quality.
      Their personal service included Dietrich choosing a special shoulder rest and moulding it to my daughter's shoulder shape, then changing the standard chin rest for one that suited her. He also took us into the workshop to meet the luthier, David, and showed us what he was doing to change the chin rest!
      We had outstanding personal service which I have experienced in very few places, and never before in a violin store. Dietrich and the team really care about matching the instrument to the person, and finding the best quality solution which is value for money.
      I expect we will continue to be Animato customers into the future. :-)
      We are really looking forward to hearing the lovely Amore for years to come.

    9. It does'nt have to break the budget if you chose Amore.

      Posted by Eva Kiss on 29th May 2014

      As the name Amore hints this beware of attachment to this warm, deep and beautiful violin. I have it for over one year now. I am a beginner, and I am actually teaching myself over the one year. I love playing on it, and it just makes me to play so easily. I have to remember to put it down after 45 minutes of continuous play nearly every day.
      I changed the strings just about a month ago to Obligato strings. So the original set lasted for me without many problems for at least 8 months. It took some time to work it out that the cracked sound on the lower notes was actually due to the strings wearing out and was not due to my insufficient playing ability... LOL but that is other learning curve since I have no teacher. Obligato was suggested by Animato' owner and he even told me how to change it. I did it on my own and it sound great as ever again.
      I recommend it to anybody, from mature aged students like me to a beginner, younger teenager to invest into this intermediate Amore violin, for it will give you an enhanced learning experience from the start for many years to come.
      Thanks so very much for your professional dealings, free shipping and excellent customer relation.
      Kindly yours
      Eva Kiss

    10. Very hard to beat value at the intermediate level.

      After ten years of learning violin I believe my Amore is one of the best bang for buck buys in the violin market. I now have some experience with both beginner and high end instruments. Expensive instruments (often in excess of $3000) would normally belong to one of my past and various teachers. Invariably my teachers have complimented me on my choice and are often astounded by the under $1000 out lay. Awesome value for money and backed with great customer service.
