Aquila Ukulele Strings are made of Nygut- a special plastic compound made of three different components.

Compared ot nylon, Nylgut produces a better sound and stays in tune longer.

Nylgut also has a high density simalar to that of pure gut.  As a result, the sound is not metallic like PVFD (Fluorocarbon strings).

The new Nylgut assures:

• better sound than nylon or PVFD-similar to gut strings
• more accurate fret intonation due to the precisely gauged material
• very stable intonation under changes in humidity.
