    Product Description

    German-made Helmut Illner B-level violin.

Carved and varnished in Germany according to the specifications German luthier Helmut Illner.  Helmut Illner has been one of the most influential and sought-after luthiers and works in Erlanger, Germany.

Violins from German luthier, Helmut Ilner are handmade.  The varnish is antiqued in tawny amber shades. The European tone-woods have been naturally dried and aged for at least 8 years. The top plate is made from a high-quality spruce with a fine grain. The one-piece back is made from well-flamed maple.

This violin has rosewood pegs and an ebony fingerboard. To keep the costs down, these fittings were added by trained experts in China.

Once the violin has reached Animato Strings, the violin is further optimised according to the specifications of Animato's professional string players. In this way, it competes favourably when compared to violins that have not undergone this optimisation.

His violins are often chosen by advanced students and professional musicians.
